MY COMPUTER WON'T TURN ON!

This is the worst! I need get my work/studies/game on done and my computer just won't power on/turn on/boot up. I've tried everything like pressing the power button, checking the cable and even pressing the reset button, but nothing is working! Could it be that there's something wrong with the motherboard?
